In Africa, as per the custom laws of the few of the countries in Africa like Apapa Lagos, Nigeria, Matadi, Dominic Republic of Congo – DRC and others where it is mandatory for every importer in these countries to obtain ECTN - Electronic Cargo Tracking Note / F.E.R.I. and PSI – Pre-shipment Inspection. In the absence of these certificates, no importer is allowed to file Import General Manifest (IGM) for their import shipments in their country.
